3. Releases in 2012

◦ The schedule is similar to last year (beta in June, final (9.6) in early December / late November).

◦ The major release in 2013, which incorporates multi-threading

4. Collaboration process

◦ The spokesperson election process is confirmed. Candidate nomination phase starts on February 27^th and concludes by March 23^rd. Next SB meeting (March 28^th) is the last SB meeting convened by the current chairpersonship.

5. AOB

◦ Next Technical Forum on March 27^th (Tue), 16:00-18:00 @ CERN

◦ SB meeting minutes

▪ The SB agreed that the draft of internal minutes should appear within one working day of meeting and should be circulated to SB for approval. The Public minutes should be posted from the Geant4 web site immediately after the approval and announced to the Collaboration.

^◦ Report from OB meeting February 23^rd

▪ A 3-hour OB meeting took place at CERN. The minutes will be publicly available once approved by the OB. An organizational review of the collaboration was proposed to occur sometime this year. More details will be given later. The OB congratulates our past efforts, encouraged us to do more, particularly on multi-threading/parallelism.
